I often wonder how Ashlyn can sleep just about anywhere!

Disney's California Adventure

When we went to Disneyland we had purchased two-fer tickets, and we finally got around to using them.

Everyone got pretty wet after this ride, except Maria who wore a poncho.

This was right before the ride shot them straight up into the air.



This ride was one of Josh and Ryan's (my little brothers) favorite rides.

Disney's California Adventure was so much fun. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all. We were even given free passes to stay in the park for an extra hour after it closed. What a great day!

We were so excited to have my family over from England to visit. It had been about nine years since everyone was together and we had a blast. We couldn't resist the opportunity to take lots of pictures.

We were so excited to go to Disneyland with Ashlyn for the first time, and what made it even more fun was sharing the day with my family. We had such a good time (even with the rain at the beginning of the day).














Ashlyn loved the characters from a distance, but was not so sure when she got up close.






Ashlyn loved the Dumbo ride (until it started moving).



Ashlyn had lots of fun with her cousins. Gracie loved Mickey Mouse, but Ashlyn just wanted to get away from him.































It was such a great day!

Mojave Narrows

The day after my family arrived from England we all took a day trip to Mojave Narrows Regional park. Everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed catching up with one another.




Ashlyn and Gracie enjoyed getting to know each other better and spent most of their time playing in the sand.

Daddy & Ashlyn

Ashlyn loves to dance, and was so excited to dance with her daddy.

Our little family consists of Jarom, myself and our beautiful daughter Ashlyn.

Jarom is currently teaching math over at Hesperia High School. This is his first year teaching and it has had it's fair share of highs and lows. Not only is Jarom teaching but he is taking credential classes and working on his Master's degree at the same time. There are some days when he leaves for work at 6:30am and doesn't get home until 8:30pm or later. He works so hard to support our little family and we love and appreciate all that he does. We just keep telling ourselves it will be worth it in the end!

I am a stay at home mum (which I think is the best job in the world) and I am also taking some college classes. Sometimes I wonder how I filled my day, but I know that at the end of it I am exhausted so I must have accomplished something I hope!

Then there is our Ashlyn. She is the apple of our eye. She is now 16 months old and lots of fun. She loves to sit and have mummy and daddy read books to her, knows all the actions to "Popcorn Popping," and when asked can point to her head, nose , ear, hand, and feet. Ashlyn's favorite game to play is basketball. She just got her first little tike's basketball hoop and loves to play with daddy. As soon as Jarom gets home from work she grabs her basketball and runs to him. We are truly blessed to be her parents.
